Barchester is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy General Manager (Clinical) to join their team. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the General Manager to drive the highest standards of care, lead a multidisciplinary team, and take charge of leadership duties in their absence.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Excellence: Lead by example through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and rigorous regulatory compliance checks.
Team Leadership: Inspire, motivate, and mentor your multidisciplinary team to ensure residents enjoy the best possible quality of life.
Risk & Safeguarding: Oversee clinical risk assessments and successfully manage safeguarding investigations.
Operational Management: Support with HR processes, budgeting, preceptorship for newly qualified nurses, and contribute to sales and marketing initiatives.
About You
To be considered for this prestigious role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) qualification with current NMC registration.
Possess a recognized teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification.
Demonstrate proven experience supporting residents with diverse health needs.
Bring a successful track record in managing safeguarding and clinical risk.
Exhibit resilience, compassion, and a strong drive to deliver outstanding care.
