On this dynamic 12-month graduate journey, you will gain a comprehensive, well-rounded view of how Aldi operates to develop into one of their talented Area Managers.

Your journey begins with a two-week induction to understand the business and what sets Aldi apart, followed by intensive, hands-on training covering everything from shop floor basics to store management decisions. You will then be handed the keys to your own store, taking charge of a multi-million-pound business and leading your own team. By the end of your first year, you will be fully prepared to step into a full Area Manager role, driving sales, maximizing operational efficiency, minimizing costs, and fostering a high-performing working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Induction & Training: Complete an intensive training programme covering all foundational store operations, from shelf-stacking to high-level store management.

• Store Leadership: Take ownership of your own store, managing day-to-day operations and a multi-million-pound business environment.

• Team Management: Motivate employees, coach team members, and encourage excellent performance to build a cohesive, high-achieving workforce.

• Operational Excellence: Drive the highest possible sales while ensuring an efficient working environment, top-tier customer service, and minimal operational costs.
