Position Overview
Role: Head of Housekeeping (Permanent)
Location: White Lodge Care Home, Braydon, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN5 0AD
Pay Rate: Up to £14.50 per hour
Hours: 40.00 hours per week (Days: Shifts 08:00–16:00 or 07:00–15:00, with availability to work every other weekend)
Closing Date: 1 September 2026
Special Incentive: £750 Golden Hello Welcome Bonus (Terms and conditions apply)
About the Role
Driving licence is essential for this position. As Head of Housekeeping, you will help create the warm, homely surroundings that are vital to delivering exceptional care and support. Leading a dedicated housekeeping team, you will ensure every room and living space is maintained to the highest possible standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing day-to-day housekeeping operations with meticulous attention to detail.
Motivating, inspiring, and guiding your team to always be at their best.
Ensuring the care home stands out as a shining example of a high-quality living environment.
What We Are Looking For
To join us as Head of Housekeeping, you should possess:
A valid driving licence (essential).
Previous housekeeping experience within a care home, hospital, or hotel environment.
A proven ability to lead, manage, and inspire a team.
A caring nature and excellent communication skills, as you will regularly interact with staff, residents, and their families.
