Care Assistant
Location: Dean Wood Care Home, Warren Road, Woodingdean, Brighton, BN2 6DA
Salary: £13.10 - £14.10 per hour (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Part-Time (24-hour contract)

We are partnering with Dean Wood (part of Bupa) to find a dedicated and enthusiastic Care Assistant for a part-time role. In this deeply rewarding position, you will be at the heart of our community, delivering person-centred care that champions independence, dignity, and choice while helping residents live lives they truly love.
Providing compassionate support with a wide range of requirements, from friendly companionship to sensitive personal care.
Observing, managing, and documenting changes in resident behaviour or health in accordance with required legislation.
Supporting residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink comfortably according to their care plans.
Delivering essential physical and mental stimulation through engaging social and recreational activities, both individually and in groups.
Maintaining accurate, up-to-date care plans in line with regulatory and legal requirements.
High motivation, a positive mindset, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication abilities and the confidence to work seamlessly both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a relevant Health and Social Care qualification (though full training and support are provided!).
