Pay Rate: £14.48 per hour

Hours: 16 hours per week + regular overtime opportunities

Whether you are leading the shift on the shop floor, supporting team development, or helping drive store performance, this is a fantastic opportunity to shape your retail career.

What You'll Be Doing

• Shift Leadership: Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading, motivating, and coaching your team during your shifts.

• Hands-On Operations: Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills to set the pace and ensure efficient daily operations.

• Store Performance: Support merchandising, stock accuracy, and basic HR processes to keep the store running smoothly.

• Community & Membership: Champion Co-op Membership and connect with the local community.

Working Pattern & Requirements

• Hours: 16 hours per week on a permanent contract, plus regular opportunities for overtime.

• Working Pattern: Varied shifts including early mornings (from 6:00 AM opening), afternoons, and late evenings (up to 11:00 PM closing), including at least 1 weekend shift (to be discussed further at interview).

• Age Requirement: You must be aged 18 or over to authorise age-related sales and handle early/late shift requirements.

• Commutability: Applicants must live within a commutable distance of Hove.

• Experience: Formal management experience is not essential—we are looking for a passion for people, leadership potential, and a proactive attitude! Full, paid training is provided.
