About The Role
We are expanding our team and looking for a Casual (Zero-Hours) Driver to support our operations nationwide. In this ad-hoc driving role, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering cars and small vans to SBFM operational staff across the UK, ensuring the safe, timely, and professional transportation of vehicles to meet business needs.
(Please note: This is a flexible, zero-hours role where working hours will vary depending on business requirements).
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and deliver cars and small vans safely across the UK to operational sites and staff.
Handle all vehicles with care, ensuring they are maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition.
Complete all journey documentation accurately and promptly.
Perform basic pre- and post-journey checks (fuel, oil, tyres).
Adhere strictly to all UK road safety regulations and company driving policies.
Maintain professional communication with the Fleet team regarding schedules, routes, or any issues.
The Candidate:
Full UK driving licence (a clean licence is preferred).
Previous vehicle delivery or professional driving experience is desirable.
Able to work flexibly on an ad-hoc basis, including at short notice.
Strong knowledge of UK road networks and GPS navigation tools.
Reliable, enthusiastic, and safety-conscious with a strong work ethic.
