We are acting on behalf of DaVita UK (Ltd)—a leading, independent, nurse-led provider delivering life-saving kidney care in partnership with the NHS—to recruit an experienced Clinic Manager for their dialysis clinic in Alnwick.
Operating within a "Community First, Company Second" culture, you will provide overall leadership and operational management for the clinic, guiding a dedicated team of nurses and support staff. You will coordinate day-to-day clinical, administrative, and regulatory activities to ensure a seamless patient journey, high-quality individualised care, and an inspiring workplace environment.
1. Leadership & Operations Management
Lead, mentor, and onboard new teammates effectively, fostering a value-driven culture that brings out the best in everyone.
Coordinate daily clinical, administrative, and operational activities to maintain a smooth-running, inviting facility.
Implement new processes to drive quality improvement initiatives throughout the clinic.
2. Patient Care & Compliance
Ensure a seamless patient journey across all touch points and develop positive relationships with patients, handling any complaints professionally should they arise.
Maintain rigorous compliance with all relevant clinical, governance, and regulatory systems and policies, including CQC standards and Key Lines of Enquiry (KLoE).
Liaise effectively with external organizations such as NHS Trusts and the CQC with the support of the Regional Manager, maintaining accurate records and timely report submissions.
Essential Criteria
Registration & Qualifications: Full UK professional registration with the NMC and appropriate nursing qualifications, alongside a willingness to become a Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Experience: Proven clinical leadership experience within an outpatient haemodialysis setting, backed by solid renal/dialysis care experience and evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD).
Competencies: Engaging communication skills, a friendly demeanour, a proactive and solution-oriented approach to changing clinical environments, and exceptional organizational skills.
