Key Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance: Carry out maintenance of electrical systems and associated equipment, ensuring all work is followed up with the appropriate certification.
Fault Finding & Repair: Isolate defective equipment from power supplies, perform visual and mechanical fault checks, isolate problem areas, and take corrective action to complete repairs.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all engineering standards, practices, health and safety protocols, and fatigue levels are strictly maintained, escalating any concerns to the section leader.
Planning & Collaboration: Assist in preparing estimates and quotations, and coordinate with planners and section leaders to reschedule any uncompleted planned or reactive maintenance.
Authorisation: Assume the role of Competent Person (Electrical) as authorized by the Authorised Person.
What You Will Need
Qualifications: City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 (or equivalent NVQ) and C&G 2382-10 18th Edition (minimum requirement). C&G 2391-10 Inspection & Testing (or recognized equivalent) is an advantage.
Experience: Hands-on experience with the installation, testing, and maintenance of LV distribution systems.
Safety Awareness: Solid experience with safe working practices and permit-to-work systems.
