Contract Type: 6-Month Fixed Term, Full-Time (40 hours per week, with flexible working options considered)
About the Role
We are partnering with the St Albans Clinic—a trusted Bupa healthcare facility dedicated to helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives—to find a motivated and client-focused Health Advisor. At the clinic, patients are the top priority, and you will have the dedicated time and environment to use your training to support customers through proactive health education and clinical assessments.
As a Health Advisor through Supportive Bridge, you will deliver comprehensive Health Assessments, carry out advanced clinical testing, and use motivational interviewing techniques to create personalized lifestyle action plans that inspire positive health behaviors.
Key Responsibilities
Support the end-to-end service delivery of Health Assessments and maintain accurate client records.
Promote and encourage healthier lifestyles in accordance with current clinical policies.
Carry out a wide range of clinical testing, including body composition analysis, spirometry, heart rate monitoring, gas analysis, diabetes and anaemia blood test markers, blood pressure measurement, cholesterol profiling, electrocardiograms, audiometry, and functional movement screening.
Create individual lifestyle action plans using motivational interviewing techniques to foster positive behavioral changes.
Conduct post-assessment calls to support clients with ongoing actions and positive lifestyle changes.
Prioritize safeguarding for children, young people, and adults at risk across all daily activities.
What We Are Looking For
Educated to degree level or equivalent in exercise physiology, sports science, or nutrition (essential).
Customer-facing experience with a proven ability to build rapport and tailor your approach to individuals.
Strong empathy, excellent motivational skills, and accuracy in recording information within clinical guidelines.
Desirable: Previous experience performing measurements or assessments within a health, fitness, or medical environment.
