We are excited to represent Avery Healthcare in their search for an inspirational and dedicated Care Home General Manager to lead the award-winning team at Acacia Mews Care Home in Hatfield.

As the General Manager, your focus will be to lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver exceptional person-centred quality care in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment—all while meeting regulatory requirements, professional standards, and business performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred care based on best practices.
Taking full responsibility for the ongoing recruitment, retention, and professional development of staff within the home.
Acting as a primary point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals involved in resident wellbeing.
Monitoring and maintaining safe staffing levels in accordance with current occupancy and dependency needs.
Providing ongoing inspirational leadership and management to empower the staff team.
Managing costs effectively and maintaining strict budgetary control through regular reviews and stock monitoring.

Requirements:
A minimum of four years of experience working in a similar care environment.
Hold a Leadership and Management Level 5 qualification (or equivalent).
Outstanding leadership, management, and IT competency, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Adaptability and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
Requirements for Employment: Proof of eligibility to work in the UK and a DBS Disclosure check (the cost of which is fully covered by Avery Healthcare).
