Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our healthcare partner's clinical team as a Nurse Advisor. In this vital remote-and-office-based advisory role, you will support Patient Support Programmes, deliver expert clinical guidance, and empower patients and carers to self-administer therapies safely. By managing patient consultations via telephone and virtual platforms, you will help bridge the gap between hospital and home, driving treatment adherence and enhancing patients' overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high standards of professional clinical care and support for Patient Support Programmes, operating without direct supervision.
Educate and train patients and carers to safely self-administer therapies in accordance with service-specific protocols.
Conduct structured telephone and virtual nursing consultations, monitoring treatment adherence and managing patient inquiries professionally.
Participate actively in clinical governance, clinical supervision, and the accurate recording of all patient care activities in line with company SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate closely with consultants, GPs, and multidisciplinary teams, communicating any clinical changes or concerns promptly.
Support the implementation of new business opportunities, assist with staff inductions, and help maintain medical supplies and equipment.
Working Hours
37.5 hours per week on an 8-hour shift rota between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Requirement to work 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) every 2 to 3 weekends.
Skills and Qualifications
Registered General Nurse (RGN) on Part 1 of the NMC Register (essential).
Ideally a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience within a clinical setting.
ENB 998 and/or recognized teaching/mentorship experience or qualifications (highly desirable).
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of working both independently and as part of a supportive team.
