Salary: Up to £54,000 per year (Dependent on Experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (07:45 – 16:30 with a 9-day fortnight — every 2nd Friday off, PAID!)
Role Overview
Are you an experienced CAD specialist with a strong background in fire detection and alarm systems? Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with EMCOR UK to recruit a permanent CAD Technician - Fire Systems based in Aldermaston.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Drawing: Design and draw both new systems and extensions for Fire Detection and Alarm systems using AutoCAD.
Estimation & Proposals: Prepare and provide accurate estimates and proposals for client consideration.
Documentation & Compliance: Prepare project files including LPCB/BRE LPS1014 documentation from design certification through to verification, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, Technical, Statutory, and CDM regulations.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with on-site commercial, technical, and operational management, attend client contract meetings, prepare contract reports, and maintain the technical library.
Reporting: Prepare monthly activity reports for the General Manager and actively participate in monthly contract meetings.
What You Will Need
Experience: Extensive experience in designing and modifying Fire Detection and Alarm systems (conventional and analogue addressable), alongside proven estimation capabilities.
Qualifications: City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Technical Skills: Trained and experienced in the use of AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of relevant health, safety, and statutory regulations including CDM.
Requirements: A full clean driving license and the ability to meet required site security standards.
