Permanent Care Assistant (Agency Staffing via Bridge Staffing Agency)
Location: Stirlings Care Centre, Garston Lane, Wantage, OX12 7AX
Pay Rate: £13.78 per hour (with NVQ and Weekend Enhancements available)
Contract Type: Permanent / 2 Positions Available (30 hours per week or 37 hours per week)
Shift Pattern: Early (7:00 AM – 2:00 PM) / Late (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) with Alternate Weekend Working

About the Role
Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Stirlings Care Centre, situated on Garston Lane in Wantage. Serving the local and wider Oxfordshire community for over 50 years, Stirlings offers compassionate, individualised residential, early-stage dementia, and respite care for up to 40 residents in a wonderful, community-focused environment.
As a Permanent Care Assistant, you will make a real, positive difference every single day. Along with supporting daily routines and personal care (washing, bathing, and supporting toilet use), you will help create a happy, fulfilled life for our residents, sharing laughter and building lasting, meaningful memories as part of our extended family.
What We Are Looking For
The Right Attitude: A genuine passion for care, bringing kindness, dignity, and a positive energy to our residents.
Communication Skills: Great interpersonal skills to build wonderful relationships with residents and colleagues.
Experience: Open to both experienced carers and those new to care who bring diverse life experiences. Full induction training and support are provided!
Commitment: Ready to secure a permanent contract (choose between 30 or 37 hours per week) working regular shift patterns with alternate weekend working.
