• Salary: Annual base salary of £25,760 + £1,200 location allowance

• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Shift pattern: 12.5 hours per day, 3–4 days a week including nights and weekends, totalling 37.5 hours per week. Sponsorship is not available).

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide compassionate, person-centred care and support to men and women recovering from eating disorders (including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and atypical conditions).

• Participate actively in ward rounds, analyse patient behaviours, and adapt care collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.

• Update patient records accurately and assist residents with daily living needs, which may include personal hygiene support.

• Bring resilience, vigilance, and a positive attitude to a dynamic environment, finding immense reward in seeing individuals progress because of your care.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant within a care or clinical environment.

• A naturally caring, compassionate, and resilient disposition with high levels of vigilance.

• A strong commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals and promoting recovery-focused care.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively on a flexible shift rota, including nights and weekends.

Middlewood Clinic in Midhurst, West Sussex (GU29 9JP) provides specialised care and treatment to restore healthy body weights and address psychological challenges for individuals with eating disorders. The hospital features 12 comfortable en-suite bedrooms alongside extensive communal areas, therapy rooms, a therapy kitchen, and a lovely cottage-style garden, all supported by an integrated Multidisciplinary Team.
