Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit experienced, compassionate, and dedicated permanent Senior Recovery Coordinators / Practitioners (3 vacancies remaining) to join their substance misuse services across West Sussex.
In this senior practitioner role, you will hold a specialized caseload of our most complex service users, providing unwavering support from initial contact through their recovery journey. You will deliver comprehensive recovery-focused plans, manage pre-detox preparation and post-care support, implement targeted interventions to reduce opiate-related harm, and act as an advocate to help individuals achieve meaningful social reintegration.
Complex Caseload Management: Hold and manage a caseload of the service's most complex service users, delivering exceptional care, screening, assessment, and recovery planning.
Targeted Interventions: Implement tailored interventions to reduce opiate and substance-related harm through group sessions or one-on-one engagement.
Detox & Care Pathways: Ensure comprehensive recovery plans include robust pre-detox preparation, post-care support, and effective onward referrals.
Partnership & Advocacy: Collaborate with external agencies and community networks, championing mutual aid and advocating for service user and family involvement.
Experience & Knowledge: Strong, proven background working in the substance misuse and drug/alcohol sector with experience handling complex needs.
Mental Health Awareness: Solid working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
Core Competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high IT proficiency, and strong independent time-management and prioritization abilities.
Requirements: Supportive team player with exceptional interpersonal skills. Must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK (note: this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check).
Annual Leave: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 extra day for each year of service during the first five years (up to 30 days).
