Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week | 5 days out of 7 (Rotational weekend work included)

Shift Times: Evening/Night shift starts at 6:00 PM or 10:00 PM (Finish times vary with business needs)

At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we focus on connecting dedicated talent with industry-leading employers. On behalf of our client, Aldi, we are recruiting a permanent Warehouse Operations Transport Assistant (Nights) to join the night crew at the Sheppey Distribution Centre.

With Aldi's rapid growth and new store openings across the region, efficient distribution centers are key to their success. In this active, hands-on night role, you will use your initiative to keep logistics running smoothly—operating fork-lift trucks, managing returnable equipment, and contributing to regional recycling operations.

Key Responsibilities

• MHE & Fork-lift Operation: Safely operate fork-lift trucks to load store orders efficiently during night shifts.

• Returnable Equipment Control: Manage, organize, and uphold high standards in the returnable equipment department.

• Recycling Operations: Actively support and contribute to the distribution centre’s sustainability and recycling efforts.

• Site Efficiency: Work proactively to ensure a clean, organized, and effective night logistics environment.

What We’re Looking For

• Initiative & Drive: Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of night-shift duties.

• Operational Skills: Competent in operating fork-lift trucks and handling equipment safely.

• Reliability & Flexibility: Adaptable to evening/night start times (6:00 PM or 10:00 PM) and available to work weekends as part of a 5-out-of-7 rota.
