Pay: £39,000.00 per annum
Hours: 40.00 hours per week (Working days and alternate weekends only, across 4 to 5 days a week)

About the Role
As a Head Chef representing Barchester Healthcare through Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, you will enjoy a fantastic work-life balance without the long hours and split shifts typical of standard hospitality roles. You will have full autonomy to create nutritious, flavoursome, and well-balanced menus using fresh seasonal produce, baking fresh cakes, scones, and breads from scratch. You will lead, motivate, and inspire your kitchen team, manage budgets, oversee stock control, and collaborate with the front-of-house team to deliver hotel and restaurant standards of hospitality. About You
We are looking for a qualified, passionate culinary professional with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of our residents.
Qualifications: City & Guilds / NVQ / SVQ or equivalent culinary qualification.
Experience: Background in leading and motivating a team, working with fresh seasonal food, and a strong understanding of nutrition.
Knowledge & Skills: Good understanding of HACCP and COSHH. (Experience with modified diets using the IDDSI framework is a plus, though full training can be provided.)
Attributes: A personable, warm approach, confidence in engaging with residents to tailor menus, and a commitment to high standards.
