Location: The Hazlehurst Centre SARC, Batley, West Yorkshire, LS27 7LE (with operational coverage across South Yorkshire, Humberside, and North Yorkshire SARCs)
Salary: £13.45 per hour (£28,051.32 per annum pro rata based on a 40-hour week)
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Part-time (24 hours per week), working on a 24/7 rotational shift pattern covering day shifts (09:00–20:59) and night shifts (21:00–08:59), Monday to Sunday

We are acting on behalf of Mountain Healthcare Ltd—a premier partner of NHS England and the police, and a leading provider of clinical forensic healthcare—to recruit a compassionate Flexible Administrator / Crisis Worker.
In this critical role based at a Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC), you will serve as the initial point of contact and dedicated advocate for victims of sexual assault. You will empower service users to feel in control, provide vital emotional and practical support during the forensic process, and manage administrative patient care pathways to ensure seamless day-to-day service delivery in a trauma-informed environment.
1. Patient Support & Advocacy
Act as the primary point of contact and dedicated advocate for service users and their families visiting the centre.
Provide comprehensive preparation, support, and care during the SARC visit, utilizing distraction techniques and assisting clinicians with forensic evidence collection.
Liaise closely with multidisciplinary stakeholders, including the Police, NHS England, Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVAs), and Social Services to manage effective patient care pathways.
2. Administration & Centre Operations
Support the SARC Manager with the smooth day-to-day running of the facility and general administration processes.
Ensure stringent DNA anti-contamination standards and cleanliness are rigorously maintained between forensic cases.
Maintain accurate, secure administrative records with a strict understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding protocols.
Essential Criteria

Licence & Travel: A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, as travel across regional SARCs (West, South, North Yorkshire, and Humberside) may be necessary.
Experience & Skills: Proven administrative experience, strong IT literacy, and a background working in supportive, client-facing, or customer-focused environments.
Knowledge: Sound understanding of safeguarding procedures for children and adults, alongside a clear appreciation of confidentiality and data security.
Vetting: Ability to successfully pass an Advanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and Level 2 police vetting.
Desirable Criteria
Prior experience supporting individuals with complex needs or those who have experienced sexual assault/violence.
Experience in resource creation, project development, outreach, training, or presentation delivery.
