Position: E&I Maintenance Technician (Electrical and Instrumentation)
Location: SUEZ Energy from Waste Facility, Richmond Hill, Braddan, Isle of Man, IM4 1JH (Relocation package available!)
Salary: £34,984 - £38,636 per annum (with a structured progression plan bringing your salary to £45,478.89; total package up to £42,499.60 plus overtime)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday)

We are proud to partner with our client as a supportive staffing agency to recruit an enthusiastic E&I Maintenance Technician for their Energy from Waste facility on the Isle of Man. Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repair: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across all electrical and instrumentation systems to guarantee safe, reliable, and efficient plant operation.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all plant installations, upgrades, and modifications fully comply with current wiring regulations, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
Team Support & Collaboration: Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and contractors, while working collaboratively across various site functions.
Call-Out & Outage Participation: Take part in call-out rotas for plant breakdowns (featuring one-off attendance payments and a minimum of four hours' pay at overtime rates) and support two planned plant shutdown periods each year.

What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: A completed engineering apprenticeship qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), alongside knowledge of BS7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations.
Skills: Familiarity with Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). (Health and safety qualifications/experience are beneficial, but training can be provided).
