As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit a dedicated and meticulous Bank Housekeeper for Spencer Court. Situated a stone's throw from historic Blenheim Palace in the charming town of Woodstock, this home offers high-quality, compassionate residential and early-stage dementia care for up to 46 residents in calm, friendly, and comfortable surroundings.
As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the home. Using specialised equipment and materials, you will ensure every room and living space is clean, tidy, safe, and welcoming for residents, visitors, and staff. You may even find some of our residents eager to lend a hand with simple cleaning and laundry tasks as you carry out your daily routines!
Cleaning & Hygiene: Maintain immaculate standards of cleanliness, tidiness, and infection control throughout bedrooms and communal living spaces.
Safe Environment: Use specialised cleaning materials and equipment safely to create a secure, comfortable atmosphere.
Resident Interaction: Build caring, sensitive relationships with residents, welcoming helpers and chatting warmly during your daily routines.
Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly alongside the wider care and support team to uphold the home's warm and welcoming environment.
Experience: Previous housekeeping experience is wonderful, but not essential—we provide full, comprehensive training for newcomers to the profession.
Personality: A caring, sensitive, and approachable nature with a genuine comfort around elderly residents.
Attitude: Someone who takes immense pride in their work, communicates well, enjoys teamwork, and has a keen eye for detail.
Competitive Pay: £13.14 per hour, with higher rates for weekend shifts and relevant NVQs.
