Pay: £15.45 - £15.95 per hour (Earn an extra £2.00/hr on Bank Holidays and £3.50/hr for night shifts)

Hours: Permanent, Full Time (30-hour contract, various shifts)

Experience: Management/Leadership experience required

About the Role

Are you an organised, reliable leader looking for your next management step in West Lothian? We are looking for an experienced Retail Shift Manager to help run the busy Lidl store on Whitburn Road, Bathgate.

In this role, you will take real ownership of the shop floor, lead by example, and ensure the branch runs like clockwork. It’s a fast-paced environment where you can prove your leadership potential and set yourself up for future career progression.

What You Will Do

• Lead the Team: Motivate your colleagues, delegate tasks quickly, and create an environment where everyone can succeed.

• Run the Store: Manage everyday essentials like cash processes, stock levels, inventory, and product freshness.

• Help Customers: Ensure every visitor receives a top-tier shopping experience.

• Step Up: Confidently take charge of store operations and lead the team when senior managers are off-site.

• Proven experience leading a team and hitting targets in a busy, fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills to assign tasks fairly and keep the team motivated.

• A friendly, patient attitude and the ability to stay perfectly calm under pressure.
