About the Role Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with XL Team LTD—a nationwide leader in health, safety, and medical event solutions rooted in the North East—to source a qualified FREC 4 Night-Time Economy First Responder. Moving beyond traditional daytime first aid, this specialist role places you right at the heart of student nightlife, entertainment venues, and late-night events. Working alongside registered paramedics, security, and welfare teams, you will provide vital medical care, support vulnerable individuals, and keep communities safe through flexible evening and late-night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake structured patient assessments and obtain or monitor critical clinical observations.

• Recognize serious illnesses and injuries, providing emergency care safely within your scope of practice.

• Manage acute medical and trauma presentations, as well as alcohol- and substance-related incidents.

• Monitor, reassess, and support patients within specialized treatment facilities.

• Assist with resuscitation, time-critical emergencies, and patient escalations to Paramedics or the NHS.

• Support welfare and safeguarding interventions, deliver structured clinical handovers, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Person Specification & Requirements

• Essential Qualifications: FREC 4 (First Response Emergency Care) or recognized equivalent, supported by appropriate current clinical competencies and evidence of ongoing CPD.

• Desirable Experience: Prior background working in Night-Time Economy (NTE) environments, event medical settings, ambulance services, venues, or festivals.

• Core Skills: Ability to work well under pressure in dynamic nightlife settings, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence.

• Compliance: Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required.
