Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Kings Court for a Volunteer (Day) to join their team in Swindon, UK.

In this role, you will dedicate your time and energy to enhancing the daily lives of care home residents during day shifts. Working alongside the care and lifestyle teams, you will provide valuable companionship, assist with social activities, and help foster a warm, engaging, and supportive community environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Spend quality time engaging in conversation, reading, or hobbies with residents to offer meaningful companionship.

• Assist the lifestyle and care staff in running group activity sessions, social events, and recreational projects.

• Help create a welcoming, positive atmosphere for residents, families, and visitors within the care home.

Requirements

• A friendly, empathetic, and compassionate nature with a genuine interest in supporting older adults.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen actively.

• Eligibility to volunteer in the UK and reside within a commutable distance of Swindon, UK.
