Position: NHS 111 Clinical Advisor
Location: Chesterfield, United Kingdom (Site-based role; remote opportunities are not available)
Salary / Hourly Rates:
Training and daytime shifts: £19.63 per hour
Evenings and night shifts: £25.51 per hour (includes a 30% evening enhancement)
Weekend shifts: £28.46 per hour (includes a 45% weekend enhancement)
Annual equivalent range: £38,383 – £46,221 per annum (pro rata)
Working Pattern: Full-Time and Part-Time day and night positions available

As an NHS 111 Clinical Advisor with our supportive bridge staffing agency, you will join our dedicated NHS 111 team in Chesterfield where every call is a chance to make a difference. Serving as the primary clinical point of contact over the phone, you will evaluate patient symptoms using the NHS Pathways system, provide expert evidence-based guidance, and direct individuals safely to the next best step in their care journey.
Deliver expert telephone triage and clinical assessments for patients seeking urgent medical help or advice.
Utilize the NHS Pathways system expertly to assess symptoms, determine safe clinical pathways, and direct patients to appropriate services.
Provide clear, compassionate, and evidence-based guidance while offering patient reassurance.
Maintain rigorous standards of clinical governance, data integrity, confidentiality, and professional accountability.
Registered Adult Nurse, Paramedic, or Pharmacist with valid post-registration clinical experience.
Strong clinical judgement, robust decision-making skills, and confidence using digital IT and clinical systems.
Clear, professional communication skills combined with a compassionate, patient-centred approach.
