As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are proud to partner with Tesco to help candidates connect with fantastic retail careers. Tesco is currently seeking a dependable, hardworking Tesco Colleague (Nights) to join the temporary team at their Alfreton store in Derbyshire.

This is a dynamic, night-shift role offering great variety, stability, and everyday challenges. Working across service, picking, and replenishment areas, you will ensure shelves are stocked and ready to help shoppers experience a fantastic trip every single day.

Availability & Working Hours

• Contracted Hours: 30 hours per week (guaranteed minimum hours policy applies, with options to discuss flexibility down to 12 hours if preferred).

• Required Availability Window (Night Shifts):

  • Sunday: 22:00 – 07:00

  • Monday: 22:00 – 07:00

  • Tuesday: 22:00 – 07:00

  • Friday: 22:00 – 07:00

  • Saturday: 22:00 – 07:00

• Note: You will receive at least 3 weeks' notice of your exact shift schedules. Applicants must be over 18 years of age to apply for this role (due to night working hours).

Key Responsibilities

• Store Operations & Replenishment: Work across store service, picking, and replenishment areas to keep shelves stocked and well-presented.

• Product Care: Handle products carefully to maintain high quality, reduce waste, and ensure items reach customers in the best condition.

• Team & Customer Focus: Put safety and training into practice, communicating openly and building a strong, collaborative team spirit with colleagues.

• Store Performance: Understand your part in driving store performance, sales, and reducing shrink.
