Location: Dean Wood Care Home, Warren Road, Brighton and Hove, Brighton BN2 6DA
Salary: £20.03 to £26.20 per hour (depending on experience and capability) + Welcome Bonus
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (48 hours per week, including alternative weekends; shifts 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, with 12 hours supernumerary per week)

As a Clinical Unit Manager through Supportive Bridge, you will lead a unit or floor, ensuring the highest standards of care. With 12 hours of supernumerary time built into your schedule, you will have dedicated space to lead by example, mentor your team, assess resident wellbeing, and build lasting, meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and local community partners.
Key Responsibilities
Take charge of a unit or floor, promoting residents' independence, choice, and dignity through exceptional care standards.
Assess each resident's physical, emotional, and social well-being, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Provide clinical guidance, motivate, and mentor the care team to ensure the safe, smooth, and efficient running of the home.
Build lasting, trusting relationships with residents, families, and local healthcare partners to help raise the home's profile in the broader community.
What We Are Looking For
A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a genuine commitment to the NMC Codes of Conduct and ongoing professional development.
A deep passion for elderly care and a proven flair for helping people maintain their independence and dignity.
Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills, with the ability to delegate effectively and foster positive team dynamics.
