The Role

As a Bank Housekeeping Assistant, you will act as an unsung hero of our award-winning retirement village, bringing a flair for perfection and a touch of care to keep our community spotless. You will ensure that care home facilities, public areas, and individual properties are maintained to the highest cleaning standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain care home facilities, public areas, and individual properties to the highest cleaning standards.

• Operate equipment including vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and carpet shampooers.

• Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors; clean carpets, upholstery, woodwork, windows, and door panels.

• Handle communal laundry and wash, dry, and iron residents' clothing and bedding.

• Empty bins regularly and report all safety hazards to management, strictly adhering to Health & Safety and COSHH standards.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience from a housekeeping or domestic cleaning role, coupled with a basic understanding of infection control and COSHH compliance.

• A friendly, approachable, and meticulous professional who takes immense pride in their work.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build enduring relationships with colleagues, residents, and their families.

• Note: Please be aware that this role is not at or above RQF Level 3 and is ineligible for sponsorship under the UK's Points-Based Immigration System.
