Location: Home-Based (UK-Only, c/o Bupa Place)
Salary: £36,500 per annum (Full-Time Equivalent) + fantastic benefits + paid weekend enhancements
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Minimum 3 days per week, including required weekend or late shifts)

We are partnering with Bupa to find a dedicated Remote Sessional Counsellor / Psychotherapist. In this flexible, home-based position, you will provide high-quality, effective remote counselling and short-to-medium-term interventions via telephone and video consultations, supporting Bupa customers when they need it most.
What You’ll Be Doing
Providing high-quality, evidence-based remote counselling, brief interventions, and comprehensive assessments to Bupa customers.
Delivering different models of service delivery via video or telephone based on client preference and clinical need.
Working autonomously as part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team, collaborating with Clinical Leads, and liaising with internal and external safeguarding agencies.
Conducting one-off wellbeing support, ad-hoc coaching, structured referral recommendations, and group psychoeducation workshops.
What We’re Looking For
Full, current accreditation as a BACP Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist, NCPS Professional Accredited Registrant, or UKCP Registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor/Psychotherapist (mandatory at the time of application).
A minimum of 3 years of full-time post-qualification counselling experience with a general adult mental health specialism.
Excellent communication skills, strong digital literacy with electronic medical records, and the ability to manage your own caseload autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
