We are looking for a dedicated Key Production Operative - Maintenance to join the team in Flaxby. In this role, you will provide vital support to multi-skilled engineers by preparing and executing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks. You will also take on a variety of hands-on trade responsibilities, including joinery, painting, plumbing, and general mechanical work across the site.
By adopting a proactive approach, you will help identify maintenance requirements early, drive high standards of asset performance, and ensure a robust, safe system of work with completed risk assessments.
About You
We are looking for someone who brings a practical, safety-first mindset to the manufacturing floor. Ideal candidates will have:
Engineering-related experience from a comparable manufacturing or operational role.
A working knowledge of safe working practices and risk assessments.
A trade qualification demonstrating competence in basic mechanical, plumbing, or fabric work.
Strong time management and communication skills.
The ability to strictly comply with site policies, including Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.
