Key Responsibilities
Support and work alongside the care team during night shifts to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment.
Monitor resident wellbeing through the night, update care plans to reflect changing needs, and actively participate in the person-centred care planning process including monthly evaluations.
Support residents with their medication requirements safely and in line with guidelines.
Conduct staff supervisions and support team development where required.
Act as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and healthcare professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are met and concerns or complaints are escalated appropriately.
Person Specification & Requirements
Qualifications & Experience: Must hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in care for care homes, alongside a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment.
Core Skills & Qualities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude toward supporting and nurturing both residents and staff, and the responsiveness and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities.
