Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit a motivated, adaptable, and creative permanent Recovery Worker - Group Work Facilitator to join their countywide team in North Northamptonshire.
In this vital role, you will lead on designing, developing, and facilitating innovative, evidence-based group and pod work programmes (including the Atlas programme and tailored workshops on anger management, sleep disorders, and relationships). Working collaboratively with programme facilitators, you will support service users through their recovery journeys, manage group dynamics, and lead on graduation events to celebrate client milestones.
Group Facilitation & Design: Research, design, and deliver structured group sessions, pods, and tailored workshops (e.g., anger management, relationships) and facilitate the Atlas programme.
Harm Reduction & Recovery Plans: Support service users through their recovery journey, providing pre-detox preparation, post-care support, and harm reduction interventions via groups or 1-1 engagement.
Evaluation & Event Leadership: Conduct post-group debriefs, review client feedback, make necessary adjustments, and lead on graduation events for successful program graduates.
Collaboration & Coordination: Confirm community venues, work alongside multidisciplinary professionals, and provide occasional casework where required.
Group Work Experience: Proven experience of working with groups/pods and successfully managing group dynamics, such as conflict or challenging behavior.
Intervention Expertise: Experience using Motivational Interviewing, Psycho-Social Interventions, and working with psychological trauma.
Qualifications: Relevant qualification in counselling, group-work, or an equivalent field.
Requirements: Creative, solution-focused approach with the ability to travel efficiently across county hubs. Must hold a valid driver's licence/access to a car and the legal Right to Work in the UK (note: this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check).
