Domiciliary Care Assistant

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Bupa for a Domiciliary Care Assistant to join Richmond Village Letcombe Regis in Wantage, UK. This is a rewarding opportunity for a caring and compassionate individual to provide high-quality, person-centred support to residents within their own apartments and across the retirement village. You will play an important role in promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing while delivering exceptional care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care, including personal hygiene, mobility support, and assistance with daily living activities.

• Support residents with meals, wellbeing activities, and respond to care alert calls when required.

• Maintain accurate care records and work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care or dementia setting or a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification is desirable.

• Excellent communication skills with a compassionate and person-centred approach.

• Ability to work effectively within a team while promoting residents' dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
