Kitchen Assistant

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Bupa for a Kitchen Assistant to join their care home team in West Byfleet, UK. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for food and hospitality to support the kitchen team in delivering nutritious, high-quality meals for residents. You will help maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment while contributing to an enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, plating, and serving while ensuring residents receive excellent dining support.

• Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas and follow all food hygiene, COSHH, and HACCP procedures.

• Support kitchen operations, including stock rotation and catering for special events and celebrations.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a kitchen environment with a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.

• Passion for food preparation and delivering excellent customer service.

• Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
