Salary: £36,101.10 - £38,114.53 Per Annum + Outer London Weighting (£2,250.61) (CGL points 31 to 33)

About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit an experienced, compassionate, and energetic permanent Opiate Team Leader for their service in Croydon.

In this vital leadership role, you will lead and develop a committed team of practitioners supporting individuals affected by opiate dependency. You'll provide coaching, guidance, and performance oversight to ensure safe, high-quality support while working collaboratively with local partners to improve care pathways and service performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Coaching: Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of talented practitioners, balancing support with accountability to ensure excellence in service delivery.

• Service Quality & Performance: Manage team performance, drive continuous service improvement, and ensure robust safeguarding and risk management standards are maintained.

• Partnership Working: Collaborate with external agencies and internal stakeholders to build strong pathways and strengthen community support.

• Culture & Development: Foster an inclusive culture where both staff and service users feel valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.

Essential Criteria

• Leadership & Experience: Proven experience working within substance use, health, social care, mental health, or related services, alongside experience supervising, coaching, or leading others.

• Core Knowledge: Solid understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and performance management principles.

• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities with a genuine commitment to helping people improve their wellbeing.

• Requirements: Proactive and resilient professional. Must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK (note: this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check at an enhanced level).
