Join our staff bank at The Avalon Centre in Swindon. After completing a paid two-week induction, you will have easy app-based access to available weekday, night, and weekend shifts, giving you total freedom over your working schedule!

What You Will Be Doing

• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team providing person-centred care for individuals with neurological conditions and acquired brain injuries.

• Utilize your experience as an HCA, support worker, or care worker to help service users lead valued, fulfilled lives.

• Bring a positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance to a dynamic and rewarding environment.

• Operate within a 24/7 service structure featuring standard 12.5-hour shifts, selecting the shifts you want to work each week with zero minimum-hour obligations.

Key Skills & Qualities

• Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker, or Care Worker (from either the NHS or private sector).

• Compassion, patience, resilience, and a positive, proactive attitude.

• Strong team-working abilities and effective communication skills.

• A natural drive to support vulnerable individuals and help them achieve daily progress.

Where You Will Be Working

The Avalon Centre is a purpose-built neurological facility in Swindon for men and women over the age of 18 who have an acquired brain injury. The centre is specifically designed to support individuals with complex, challenging needs who require a specialized neurobehavioral rehabilitation program.
