Salary: Hourly rate of £13.11

What You Will Be Doing
Work with adults and young people presenting with a range of acute mental health conditions, bringing focus, engagement, and strong personal awareness to the role.
Pick up on body language and social cues, reacting and responding appropriately while communicating in a way that people in your care can easily understand.
Work as part of an inclusive, supportive multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, person-centred care.
Complete 12.5-hour shifts (7:15 AM to 7:45 PM) on a rolling rota basis, which includes working weekends and occasional nights (averaging about 3 months of the year on nights).
Key Skills & Qualities
A genuine, natural desire to help others with compassion, free from judgement or bias.
Strong personal awareness, excellent communication skills, and emotional resilience.
A clear understanding of what vulnerable young people and adults are going through and how best to support them.
Full legal right to live and work full-time in the UK.
Where You Will Be Working
Potters Bar Clinic comprises two acute mental health wards for adult men and women, and two CYPMHS Tier 4 low secure wards for young people aged 13-18. Located in a residential Hertfordshire area, the clinic is a one-minute drive from the M25 and easily accessible via public transport with a bus stop right outside, making it an ideal commute.
