Position: EC&I Maintenance Technician (Energy from Waste)
Location: SUEZ Energy from Waste Facility, Richmond Hill, Braddan, Isle of Man, IM4 1JH (Relocation package available!)
Salary: £51,687 - £56,257 per annum (with a structured progression plan bringing salary to £60,149; total package up to £61,882.70 plus overtime)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday)

We are proud to partner with our client as a supportive staffing agency to recruit an experienced EC&I Maintenance Technician for their Energy from Waste facility on the Isle of Man. Key Responsibilities
Planned & Reactive Maintenance: Maintain critical plant systems across electrical, control, and instrumentation equipment to maximize plant availability and performance.
Specialist Equipment & Troubleshooting: Provide on-site expertise for Distributed Control Systems (DCS), PLCs, and Continuous Emission Monitors (CEMs), diagnosing and resolving issues quickly to minimize downtime.
Installation & Commissioning: Support the installation, testing, and modification of equipment while ensuring strict compliance with engineering standards and BS7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations.
Cross-Functional Support: Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams, participating in scheduled plant shutdown overtime and call-out rotas when required.

What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: A completed engineering apprenticeship qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), alongside knowledge of BS7671 18th Edition wiring regulations.
Experience & Skills: Solid hands-on experience in PLCs, DCS systems, and instrumentation troubleshooting. (Emissions monitoring and health & safety qualifications are advantageous, though training can be provided).
