Remote Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist – Nationwide (Home-Based)
Position: Remote Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (Must be BABCP Accredited)
Location: Home-Based, Nationwide (UK-wide, operating from Bupa Place North)
Salary: £47,000 per annum pro-rata (based on full-time; minimum 3 days / 24 hours per week available)
Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time or Part-Time
Operational Hours: Monday to Friday on shifts between 09:00 - 20:00 (at least one late shift required: 11:30 - 20:00; approximately 5 appointments per day via MS Teams)

As a Remote Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, you will act as a first point of clinical contact for clients referred through Bupa's insurance business. Working fully remotely via MS Teams, you will provide comprehensive assessments, high-intensity 1-2-1 CBT sessions, and tailored interventions to help clients achieve therapeutic recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or low-level brief interventions demonstrating excellent clinical outcomes.
Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations that drive evidence-based interventions and determine appropriate pathways of care.
Offer flexible service delivery models including telephone or video consultations based on client preference.
Adhere to Bupa's case management processes, working collaboratively with Clinical Leads and the wider therapy team.
Manage sessional limits in accordance with client monetary allowances under their Private Medical Insurance while pursuing therapeutic goals.
Full Accreditation with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
Holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT/High Intensity) accredited by the BABCP.
At least 2 years of post-qualification experience providing high-intensity CBT interventions for diverse clinical presentations.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Systems and electronic medical record systems.
Right to work in the UK (note: candidates must be based in and working from within the UK at all times).
