About the Role

As a Deputy Store Manager, you’ll take immense pride in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, keeping operational costs low, and maximizing efficiency. Working closely alongside the Store Manager, you’ll help train colleagues, monitor stock displays, and hit key targets.

This role offers real responsibility and serves as the perfect stepping stone for experienced team leaders ready to progress towards store management.

Key Responsibilities

• Store Leadership: Run the store seamlessly in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.

• Customer Excellence: Deliver customer service that consistently goes above and beyond expectations.

• Team Support: Support the Store Manager in driving employee engagement and reaching store KPIs.

• Quality & Financials: Monitor product freshness, manage stock rotation, oversee till cashing up, and manage safe deposits.

• Compliance: Maintain strict Health & Safety and due diligence standards throughout the store.

Skills & Experience

• Team Management: Experience leading and inspiring teams within fast-paced, customer-focused environments.

• Operational Skills: Strong track record in time management and cost control.

• Target-Driven: High level of motivation to consistently achieve and exceed performance goals.

• Compliance-Minded: Excellent customer service skills combined with strong knowledge of store compliance.

• Background: Previous store management experience is a plus, but not essential—leadership potential matters most!
