We are acting on behalf of Claimont Health LTD—a unique, CQC-registered provider delivering specialist mental health and complex care services in clients' homes—to recruit an experienced and dedicated Complex Care Support Worker for roles across the Lewes area in East Sussex.

In this role, you will work on a one-to-one basis supporting children or young adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and physical complex care needs. You will help clients engage in community-based activities to foster personal development, progression, and overall wellbeing.
1. Care Delivery & Community Access
Provide consistent, high-quality, one-to-one support to clients in a calm and secure home environment.
Carry out activities that promote full access to community life as part of the client's personal development plan.
Work collaboratively with families and carers to help them understand mental health needs and manage day-to-day challenges effectively.
2. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate, contemporaneous electronic patient records and written progress notes within 24 hours of events.
Uphold strict confidentiality, safeguarding standards, and health and safety policies in compliance with the Data Protection Act and CQC regulations.
Participate actively in team meetings, mandatory training, and clinical governance frameworks.
Essential Criteria
Driving Requirement: Must hold a current, clean, full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.
Experience: Minimum of 24 months (2 years or more) of proven experience as a Complex Care Support Worker, including experience working with children or young people with ASD.
Competencies: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage change, work independently, build trust in difficult situations, and handle crises calmly.
Vetting: Must successfully pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Desirable Criteria
Post-basic qualifications or a degree-level qualification in a healthcare-related subject.
Direct experience delivering healthcare services to people with complex needs across community or acute settings.
