Rate of Pay: £21.02 - £23.22 per hour + £1,000 Welcome Bonus
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (3 x 12-hour shifts per week, 36 hours total, including paid breaks)
About the Role
We are partnering with Tenterden House Care Home in St Albans to find a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse (Days) on a permanent, full-time contract. Tenterden House is dedicated to delivering person-centred care, supporting independence, and honouring choice to help residents live their best lives in a warm, supportive environment.
As a Registered Nurse through Supportive Bridge, you will play a pivotal role in managing the unit, overseeing clinical excellence, and ensuring the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents, all while enjoying paid breaks and a generous £1,000 welcome bonus.
Key Responsibilities
Take full responsibility for the well-being of residents, making sure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Manage unit clinical duties, including the oversight of care, administering and ordering medication, and evaluating individualised care plans.
Coach, mentor, and guide the care team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and professionals.
Monitor work areas and practices to ensure strict compliance with safety standards, policies, legislation, and CQC requirements.
Build deep, meaningful connections with residents and their families, providing the kindness, support, and care they deserve.
What We Are Looking For
A qualified Registered Nurse with a valid, active NMC pin.
Previous experience ensuring policies and standards are maintained to a high clinical standard within a care environment.
Confident in offering clinical guidance to care teams and supporting all CQC-related responsibilities.
Excellent communication, reporting, and handover skills, paired with a genuine passion for making a real difference in people's lives.
