Location: Spencer Court Care Home, Union Street, Woodstock, OX20 1JG
Pay Rate: £16.49 per hour (with weekend and NVQ enhancements available)
Contract Type: Bank Shifts / Flexible Hours (0 guaranteed hours, offering complete schedule freedom)
Shift Times: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Spencer Court, situated a stone's throw from historic Blenheim Palace in the charming town of Woodstock. Spencer Court offers high-quality, compassionate residential and early-stage dementia care for up to 46 residents in calm, friendly, and comfortable surroundings.
Are you an experienced chef looking for a fulfilling culinary challenge without split shifts or anti-social evening hours? As a Bank Chef, you will have autonomy over menu development, cooking nutritious, seasonal, and flavoursome meals that our residents love. You'll oversee kitchen standards, manage stock and budgets, and build wonderful relationships with residents to tailor meals to their personal preferences.
What We Are Looking For
Experience & Qualifications: Previous experience in a professional kitchen cooking for large groups, with knowledge of specialist diets and menu planning. Ideally holding or working toward a Level 3 Diploma in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership (or equivalent).
Kitchen Leadership: Experience inspiring a team, managing stock/budgets effectively, and maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.
Person-Centred Approach: Passionate about engaging with elderly residents to ensure an exceptional dining experience.
Flexibility: Perfect for chefs seeking bank shifts (7:00 AM – 2:00 PM) to fit around their lifestyle.
