At Supportive Bridge Staffing, we specialize in connecting exceptional professionals with career-defining corporate roles. We are proud to partner with Aldi to find a data-savvy, proactive Replenishment Optimisation Assistant to join their National Supply Chain team.
This is an extraordinary opportunity to play a pivotal part in shaping the future of a global retail giant's supply chain operations. You will step directly into a massive global transformation project (the AHEAD program), becoming a true subject matter expert while forming high-level relationships across the UK, Ireland, and the wider global Aldi network. If you love big data, systems optimization, and seeing the direct impact of your analytical skills on a national scale, this role is for you.
As the department and transformation program evolve, your role will be dynamic, requiring a proactive approach to data investigation, trend analysis, and collaborative problem-solving:
Order Creation & Validation: Take responsibility for data validation and the generation of Store and Distribution Centre (DC) orders. This includes coordinating stock for critical milestones like new store openings, temporary closures, and grand re-openings.
Peak Event Management: Oversee the validation of seasonal, high-stakes key event orders (such as Christmas and Easter), ensuring optimized stock distribution to maximize sell-through across the country.
Performance Monitoring: Continuously review availability, DC pick fulfillment, and loss reduction metrics at both store and DC levels to propose and implement solutions for ongoing improvement.
Advanced Data Analytics: Investigate, maintain, and represent complex datasets using advanced Excel techniques, Tableau, SAP forecasting modules, and other analytical tools.
Strategy & Process Improvement: Plan and execute business-wide replenishment strategies, proactively adjusting to market conditions. Identify gaps in new supply chain processes and design/execute fresh, efficient workflows.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a core link between internal departments, managing daily communications with Forecasting, Buying, National IT, and Store Operations.
To succeed in this fast-paced, high-impact transformation environment, you will bring:
Systems Expertise: At least 1+ years of previous hands-on experience utilizing SAP forecasting and replenishment solutions.
Analytical Power: Exceptional Excel skills and a natural comfort working with Big Data to identify trends and create automated solutions.
Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial awareness with a talent for solving complex supply chain problems.
Resilience & Agility: A proven ability to multitask, manage projects, adapt under pressure, and confidently meet challenging deadlines.
Communication: Great interpersonal and communication skills to manage relationships smoothly with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
