As a Dementia Care Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of our Dementia Community, implementing and embedding the company’s specialized dementia care strategy while managing resources effectively within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure care plans are accurate, reflect individual needs and preferences, and integrate resident and relative feedback into a truly person-centred approach.
Build trusting, caring relationships with residents and families, acting as an advocate for residents' best interests and managing any conflict sensitively.
Work closely with the Activities Team to foster meaningful activities for residents living with dementia, supporting and setting expectations for the care team's participation.
Promote a nurturing culture that empowers residents to maximize their capabilities, optimize independence, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced care environment.
Knowledge & Qualifications: Industry-relevant qualifications, a comprehensive understanding of CQC standards and requirements, and strong knowledge of the UK health and social care market.
Requirements: Applicants must have proof of eligibility to work in the UK and undergo a DBS disclosure check (cost met by Avery Healthcare).
