Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit a passionate, motivated, and experienced MASH Recovery Coordinator to join their Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team in Barnet.
In this unique specialist role, you will act as a key navigator between agencies, ensuring substance misuse information is effectively integrated into multi-agency decision-making. Co-located within the MASH team, you will provide expert advice, coordinate information sharing, and contribute to high-quality risk assessments that safeguard children, young people, and vulnerable adults across the community.
Specialist MASH Representative: Act as the primary substance misuse specialist within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub, gathering, analysing, and presenting information for risk assessments.
Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work closely with statutory and voluntary partners (including social care, health services, and criminal justice agencies) to support safeguarding and domestic abuse decisions.
Assessment & Pathways: Provide professional advice relating to substance misuse and safeguarding, supporting service users through assessments, recovery planning, and structured referrals.
Records & Continuous Improvement: Maintain accurate records, ensure safe information sharing, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of MASH processes.
Experience & Background: Practical experience working within substance misuse, recovery, safeguarding, health, social care, or a related field.
Safeguarding Knowledge: Strong understanding of drug and alcohol issues, their impact on families, and safeguarding procedures for children and vulnerable adults.
Core Competencies: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly, strong organisational abilities, and confidence working both independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements: Must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK (note: this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check).
