Position Overview

• Locations: Base location at The Glade SARC (Bransford, Worcestershire) with travel required to The Glade SARC (Telford, Shropshire) and surrounding West Midlands region (ideal candidate location near Kidderminster area)

• Hourly Pay & Salary: £20.83 per hour (£43,443.05 per annum pro rata, based on a 40-hour week)

• Contract Type: Permanent / Part-Time (24 hours per week)

• Shift Pattern: 24/7 service operating across 8-hour shift blocks (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM, and 1:00 AM – 9:00 AM; Monday to Sunday)

About the Role Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Mountain Healthcare Ltd—a premier clinical forensic healthcare provider working alongside NHS England and the police—to source a compassionate Sexual Offence Examiner (SOE). In this critical role, you will receive full training to become a qualified Forensic Practitioner, delivering holistic care, managing referral pathways, and conducting forensic examinations across regional Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct sensitive forensic examinations and obtain forensic exhibits in accordance with FFLM guidelines and Forensic Science Regulator requirements.

• Act as the initial point of contact for victims, police, and social services regarding referral pathways and self-referral promotions.

• Undertake comprehensive holistic assessments covering physical health, sexual health, mental health, and safeguarding.

• Obtain informed consent for health and forensic procedures and create individual management plans.

• Collaborate actively in partnership with external multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) and police agencies.

Person Specification & Requirements

• Professional Qualifications: Qualified Registered Nurse (RN), Midwife, Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), or Paramedic with current professional registration.

• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of post-qualification clinical experience, with a strong background in autonomous working and phlebotomy skills.

• Knowledge: Deep understanding of child and adult safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.

• Travel & Compliance: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential due to cross-site travel requirements. Subject to an advanced DBS check and Level 2 Police vetting.
