About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Account Manager to join our team. In this pivotal field-based role, you will be accountable for the performance of allocated client accounts, fostering positive relationships to ensure retention and growth while overseeing the profitable, efficient operation of assigned contracts through frequent travel between client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Maximise the profitability of assigned contracts and deliver required business results.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure client KPIs are met efficiently.
Accountable for service delivery to budget, contract requirements, and client satisfaction by directing team members through clear strategies.
Complete regular on-site client visits, proactively identifying and resolving any issues or dissatisfaction to prevent account attrition.
Resolve personnel or performance issues before escalation and lead account development plans.
Work flexibly as contracts demand, including possible overnight or weekend working and extensive travel.
Prepare and complete timely reports and act always in the best interest of the business.
About You:
Demonstrable experience in a similar or equivalent account management role.
Strong commercial acumen with a strategic, results-driven mindset.
Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
IT literate, with strong experience using Microsoft Office suites and CRM systems.
Self-motivated, confident, and approachable with a flexible, "can-do" attitude.
