Role Overview
As an Area Manager, you will step in as a future leader helping Lidl move into its next stage of growth. You will begin your journey by learning the business from the inside out—starting from the ground up as a Customer Assistant and leading from the shop floor as a Store Manager to become fully immersed in all things Lidl. Once established, you will coordinate multiple stores, mentor Store Managers, support team development, and drive operational excellence.
Core Responsibilities:
Store Visits & Compliance: Regularly visit your stores to ensure operations run like clockwork, focusing on efficiency, productivity, and compliance.
Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor and support Store Managers in recruiting, training, and developing their teams while boosting store performance.
KPI & Standard Management: Empower teams to achieve their KPIs and uphold Lidl's exceptionally high standards.

What We Are Looking For
To thrive in this multi-site leadership role, you should bring a strong mix of strategic insight, communication skills, and operational drive:
Multi-Site Experience: Proven background motivating and leading teams across multiple locations to achieve outstanding results.
Analytical Skills: The ability to understand complex reports, implement actionable next steps, and oversee new initiatives.
Drive & Adaptability: A genuine passion for continuous learning and keeping up-to-date with a fast-evolving business landscape.
Communication: Effective communication skills to support teams through new launches, concepts, and processes.
Requirements: A full UK Driving Licence.
