The Role
As an Area Manager, you’ll be one of the company's future leaders, helping drive the next stage of growth. You’ll begin your journey by learning the business from the inside out—from stacking shelves as a Customer Assistant to leading from the shop floor as a Store Manager—to fully immerse yourself in all things Lidl. Before you know it, you'll be coordinating multiple stores, supporting your Store Managers to guide their teams, hitting KPIs, and delivering your best work.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations: Regularly visit stores to ensure things run like clockwork, focusing on efficiency, productivity, and operational compliance.
Mentorship & Development: Mentor and support Store Managers in recruiting, training, and developing their teams while improving store performance.
KPI Success: Empower your teams to achieve their key performance indicators and maintain high standards.
Culture & Values: Confidently create an environment where teams can do their best work, shift after shift, aligned with company values.
What You’ll Need
Experience: Proven experience motivating and leading teams across multiple sites to achieve outstanding results.
Analytical Skills: The ability to understand complex reports, implement next steps, and oversee the effectiveness of new initiatives.
Drive & Adaptability: A strong drive to learn and keep up to date with the ever-changing aspects of the business.
Communication: Effective communication skills to support your teams with new launches, concepts, and processes.
Driving Licence: A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
What You’ll Receive
Competitive Salary: £66,000 - £94,000 per annum.
