About the Role

As a Night Care Assistant, your role goes beyond routine checks. You are there to provide comfort, safety, and a warm sense of security when residents need it most, ensuring their well-being and happiness are looked after through the night.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overnight Comfort & Care: Gently support residents with evening and early morning routines, personal hygiene, dressing, and late-night or early snacks, always maintaining utmost kindness and respect.

• Vigilant Monitoring: Conduct regular, respectful comfort and safety checks throughout the night to ensure peace of mind for both residents and their families.

• Promoting Dignity: Respond promptly to call bells and overnight requests, ensuring residents feel listened to, valued, and safe in their environment.

• Care Plan Maintenance: Follow and contribute to personalized care plans, ensuring each resident's unique overnight preferences and care needs are strictly honoured.

• Seamless Handovers: Communicate effectively with the day team to ensure consistency and continuity of high-quality care.

What You Will Need to Succeed

We hire for heart, attitude, and reliability. Since comprehensive training is provided, we welcome applications from those with backgrounds in healthcare, social work, hospitality, retail, or other customer-facing roles.

  • Must have the right to work in the UK and live within a commutable distance of Cranleigh.

  • Willingness to undergo a fully funded Enhanced DBS check.
